HALO Awards  "Helping And Leading Others":
Monthly Award presented to students in Pre-K thru Grade 8 who demonstrate outstanding helpfulness toward peers and our own school community, as chosen by teachers.

PJAS Awards: Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science
The Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) is a statewide organization of junior and senior high school students designed to stimulate and promote interest in science among its members through the development of research projects and investigations.

PRSEF Awards: Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair
This is an open competition of research projects in the fields of science, mathematics and engineering.  This competition is open to all students in grades 6-12 from 23 counties in Western Pennsylvania and Garrett County in Maryland.    

Art Contests and Awards (as seen in photo example)
First and Second place winners of the 2015-2016 Christmas Artwork Contest of the Missionary Childhood Association. 

Gym Awards: Presidential Active Lifestyle Award 
The President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition (PCFSN), is an American government organization that aims to "promote, encourage and motivate Americans of all ages to become physically active and participate in sport".  It is given each year by the Physical Education teacher and Principal of our school in recognition of commitment to maintaining a regular physically active lifestyle.

PA Middle States Association Accreditation for Catholic Schools 2016-2017
The U.S. Department of Education- describes approved accrediting organizations such as Middle States as a “reliable authority as to the quality of education.” Accreditation is an external, objective validation of school quality and student achievement that fosters continuous school improvement.

Trib Total Media Quest for the Best Award; Bronze for Preschool Division 2015
Community-based voting award through local news print media; Tribune Review.

Carson Scholar Award; Carson Scholarship Foundation
Given to a student demonstrating scholastic achievement; including maintenance of a 3.75 minimum average for 2 consecutive years.
